Hello! Allow me to introduce myself—My name is Rooty. I live at Street Roots, and my friends the Vendors named me. I'm the Most Official Office Cat. I help out all the time, doing things like computing, helping the copier, and talking about my opinions (just ask Israel and Joanne how helpful I can be: VERY, VERY HELPFUL). When I came to Street Roots I was cold, on the streets and sick. The beautiful people at the Street Roots office took me in, fed me, got my medical issues taken care of and adopted me as a family member. I love it here and I've never felt more at home. I am the most vocal individual in the office, often meowing at the pesky birds teasing me outside. I give love to all the vendors, and some days I am the one who has to crack the whip of discipline around this place. Everybody else hangs out in this Street Roots office, but I'm the only one who lives here. And it's a wonderful place to call home. Did you know I had a twittering account?
